Was that Mitoma’s twin brother out there tonight, he was miles off it. That’s the most disjointed performance from us in a long while, didn’t win enough personal duals, poor ball retention, only really started to play in the second period of extra time. Disappointing…
Personally think it was more about how good-a job Forest did of suffocating us than us playing particularly badly. They are very, very good at what they do, hence why they're 3rd!

Just out of interest, I said my view, before a pen was taken did you literally weigh it up as 50:50 odds? I thought Nuno would be confident and better prepared.
I considered it 50/50. Anything can happen and I just had a feeling we were going to go through as we'd been a bit lucky in the game I thought. Misplaced obviously

So you think he played well this evening? His attitude looked like he'd cruise the NDP ?

Do you think he's a committed team/squad player?
He was actually the one player to go and commiserate Hinsh and Gomez as soon as they had missed and to 'gee up' the others and the team generally. He has a great attitude imo - but obviously wasn't at his best tonight because he'd just flown back from Brazil!

Yeah

I had no confidence in Hinsh scoring.
He felt like the Solly replacement.

Not a criticism of him.
Just the way I felt as ssob as I saw him walking up.
I also thought the same about Gruda tbf.

I'd have thought the order would have been something like:

Pedro
Dunk
Pervis
Adingra
Baleba

Disappointing result all things said.
Would start Adingra on Wednesday - Mitoma was miles off it today which was unusual.
Minteh played like he had won a competition to play with the 1st team - really poor decision making, control and so ineffective.
Officiating was abysmal as well - Bankes may as well have had a red shirt on. Gave them everything pretty much throughout.
Still lots to play for though, starting Wednesday.

And this is why I really couldn’t be bothered to answer his drivel , he was the 1st person there after each pen

If his free kicks were anything to go by I’m glad he didn’t
So you don’t think he should be in the running for goal of the month with a free kick, then

When it went to penalties knew we would lose as Bart never gets near one sadly. Forest players went to ground for every 50/50 ball and the ref kept falling for it. Our own fault though as we had 120 minutes plus injury time to score a goal but couldn't get past their sold back four. I prefer Gomez over Ayari as think he is better moving the ball forward. Forest's game plan without Wood was to win on penalties and it worked.

Adingra is no improvement. Lightweight and lacking courage. Takes the easy option most of the time. Needs to be sold in the summer. A flakey luxury we cannot afford.
At least Minteh puts in a shift defensively even if he is part headless chicken..part pantomime villain..tiny part brilliant...going forward.
