While it feels like the FA want to distance themselves from Sven/Capello type appointments it would be nice if we could appoint someone with an actual track record of success.

    In a game and a half we've persisted with an rb at lb, an rb at CM and an AM playing wide left. I wonder why we look disjointed?

    Stick Bellingham back there with Rice, he can easily play as an 8. Foden in the middle and then Gordon/Eze on the left. At least then there'll be players actually playing in their positions.

    I've never been Southgate out but this is Hodgson-esque. In no way, shape or form is TAA a midfielder. Why not, I dunno, actually play a centre midfielder there? the gaps are astonishing.
