Every Euros winning manager since 2000 had won at least one major league title before they became a national team manager. While it feels like the FA want to distance themselves from Sven/Capello type appointments it would be nice if we could appoint someone with an actual track record of success.

Stick Bellingham back there with Rice, he can easily play as an 8. Foden in the middle and then Gordon/Eze on the left. At least then there'll be players actually playing in their positions.

I've never been Southgate out but this is Hodgson-esque. In no way, shape or form is TAA a midfielder. Why not, I dunno, actually play a centre midfielder there? the gaps are astonishing.
