Honestly. Pervis is a good player but look at ALL 3 GOALS this second half.

He is absolutely appalling in all of them. For their fourth he has the ball but takes a shit touch, then loses the ball trying to get a foul and then trips over their player deliberately. They score from the free kick.

Now JP could have got sent off a few minutes after barging into their goalkeeper. Our manager whoever he is, needs to get a grip of these players. They don't believe.

I admire you trying to defend all this but I tell you this now with a different manager we would be top 6
Would a different manager have stopped Rutter, Webster and Veltman getting injured, then?

I’ll say it again, this is the worst we have looked since the end of Chris Hughton. Injuries is no excuse for being useless in defence and shite in attack. This has been an embarrassing performance.

Oh, wow, we scored two goals, I'm overjoyed.

Only none off corners, surprise.

When did Tony come out and say “we’re definitely going to qualify for Europe this season”? There have been long term goals but not specific aims that I’ve seen.
I think that there would be an expectation that we had a strong and deep enough squad to challenge for Europe.
A chance wasted I think, although not helped by injuries and a very rapid drop off in our Captain’s form.
Tony Bloom will have hated this one in particular.

No we wouldn't. Tosh. The injuries and inconsistencies in our defence is down to players/injuries/recruitment, not the manager.

As soon as Webster got injured yet again, we were f***ed.

We have a bottom 4 defence currently.

He's not been anywhere near the same since he came back from the long injury.

And we have challenged for Europe. We’re probably going to come up short, that’s the way it goes in the toughest league in the world.

I think I've seen or been involved in this topic on here months ago. I think it came down to Bloom and Barber saying in an interview or two they were hopeful of a European spot but the actual aim/goal was top 10.
