Harry Potter didn't look too happy after Baleba scored the winner. :albion2:

Wonderful game.

Three excellent goals. Great entertainment. Buzzing!

We actually played very well - two soft goals given away, but that can be forgiven considering our defensive woes.

Wieffer, Ayari - great performances.

I'm still in the Hurz OUT camp, but he did get it right today - so credit where it's due.

The team showed great, positive, spirit.

Our dream of Europe next season is on tenterhooks, but it's not over yet...
Wouldn’t be the Brighton we know and love if it was so easy.

Let’s agree to leave it there. Today, after having no luck or bounce of the ball for 80 mins, the fact that we kept going resulted in a memorable win. Can we both be happy about that and bin our differences in opinion on FH?
No, not really. I'm delighted we won, but get annoyed at people who decide on a whim to change their minds from Fab out to Fab stays based on a couple of late goals. It just totally undermines your previous hundred posts calling for his head and means we just totally wasted our time debating with you. Because nothing really changed today other than some luck of the green, we still have flaws and still have potential, and we're still in our development phase. But christ Fab needed those two late goals today and I'm delighted he got them.

The "game plan" had to accommodate 50% of our back four being midfielders - it was never going to be perfect FFS. First goal, WH changed their shape with Bowen dropping deeper and wasn't picked up by Ayari, plus we had a CM playing left side CB and Pervis was doing his now "usual". Maybe with Baleba playing the holding role he'd have snuffed it out, but hey ho, he was playing out of position (you can't have everything)

Second goal, give credit to the cross from Bowen, but again Soucek was Ayari's man. Not having a dig at Ayari, that was his best game in stripes for me.

What's concerning is the joy they got down our left hand side, where we had an established LB, as opposed to a makeshift CM at RB. Pervis is jumping in and selling himself far too often these days - I doubt that's an instructions from FH.

Anyway the bi-polar and knee jerking reaction from plenty on here is firmly ensconced in just this one thread - what a game of football!
I don’t think my concerns with the defence could be described as knee-jerk. They’ve been there all season. It’s the one massive flaw with FH. Everything else has either been very good or okay. If he can sort the defence out then we’re almost there.

“Do come in, what seems to be the problem…I see, can’t buy a win eh? Have you tried the Amex, it’s on the south coast? I’ll write you out a prescription for a match there and you’ll soon be right as rain”
I'm so sorry your day was ruined, still, you can always cheer for a Palace win to give you a thrill, ya negative Nellie. :)

Excrutio!

(I am now ready to boo Potter.
Boo! BOO!!
Boo.)
As soon as you wrote that I let out a couple of MASSIVE boos. Boos are so therapeutic. I think they should be available on prescription.

It's a great win and deserved purely for the Baleba strike alone! Fab celebrating knows how much it means to him as well as the players and us! It looked all lost but hey, this team can fight till the end and today got their rewards👏👏👏👏👏
But Fab has no passion…… so I keep being told.
