Tough crowd.
To be fair, despite the win due to a wonder goal, we looked tactically inept, defensively lost. Their second goal the defence might as well let them walk it in - oh, they did

Our pace looks as fast as a disabled slug. FH's subs are very questionable as well - why take March off when he was one of the players actually looking keen and creating chances. FB should have played March and Mitoma together but on opposite wings.

Just think FB is not experienced enough for the PL. Just bored of watching us throw away leads because we don't have the ability to shut out a game.

I agree we were overall poor again today and our defending/keeping is a joke - I still can’t believe their first goal - but I’m trying not to focus on that and just revel in the genius of Carlos Baleba! Where we’d be this season without him I dread to think!

March was knackered - he had to come off.

Methinks your analysis of football is up there with things like which way to vote in referenda.

Why???? What do you go to football for ?????
Not entirely sure now to be honest. Something was missing today. Poor West Ham/poor Albion performance or not, it doesn't help when Baleba does that in stoppage time I immediately think of VAR.

Saying we should have kept March on is, I think, one of the worst takes I've heard today.

March was knackered. FH got the subs spot on.

That’s was in my top 10 of crowd hugging, loud roaring and wild celebrations. [I rarely do away games]. And it went on forever on and off the pitch. I think it was the context more than anything …. an incredible strike, unexpected and what a comeback. And shock, we just didn’t expect the shot to find the net.

If you could bottle that passion in the ground!

Really?

First goal they may have "walked in" but we gave them too much room with a makeshift back 4. Second goal, Bowen's cross was quality and Soucek was Ayari's man (bit of a mismatch) Maybe having Baleba as the holding CM to track runs that led to the two goals might have helped - oh Baleba was playing as a makeshift CB!

March was knackered - did you not see that, it's been stated everywhere he ain't fit for 90 mins?? While he was on we scored once, after the subs (made by FH) we scored twice and got 3pts..... how those subs can be described as "questionable", I'll never know!

Oh and we shut out the game and won 3-2.......

The only chance March created today was for West Ham when he passed it straight to them shortly before he was subbed

Why do so many people hate Potter? Yes we had two very frustrating seasons during Covid under him, but he got us a top half finish in his last full season and then as he left he had laid the foundations for De Zerbi to take us to new heights. Was a comedy disaster at Chelsea and looking like the sequel at West Ham. Not like he left the club in a bad state and talked badly about us.
