Well what a terrible week that was!
Still it was never going to be plain sailing all the time.
We move on.
All we can do is batten down the hatches, get the club shipshape again and with a fair wind it should all come good.

Hove, actually.Indeed he’s just reflecting the current commentary fad to praise Palace - there’s a lot of groupthinking in that job. Doesn’t Glenn still live in Brighton (unless he’s moved recently)
He didn't want to sign a new contract so we had to sell to get something instead of nothing.Perhaps the hint the club need to address.
Why get rid of McConville![]()
3 cup finals. 3 defeats. So very us. Nice bunch of fellas mindWell what a terrible week that was!

The Cup defeat has knocked the stuffing out of us. That coupled with losing Rutter and Webster. The last two games we have lost our edge. Concentration levels have dropped. We have become loose and sloppy again. Overplaying around the box.Gutting that from being in form and great position, we have lost our way a bit at the most crucial time of season. Injures haven't helped us and this was (possibly still could be), a great chance to get into Europe again. With faltering City and United and Spurs being completely out of it, this is our best chance. Next season will be tougher to get near challenging top 4 possibly even top 6/7 as United will be back along with Spurs after Big Ange gets kicked out!
Not at all - I see it as we simply didn't 'win' them, nothing at all to do with the 'will to win'.
In the last 10 minutes, March was near constantly free and in space, and yet we either persisted with trying to shift the ball to the left flank or slowly realised March was available and passed to him too late.
Other than that time we won them at Cardiff. When it really matters we fold. Palace in the playoffs, in fact anyone in the playoffs, winning the championship, cup semis at Wembley, this season any game that matters.
Based on previous Amex games this season I'm far more worried about the Leicester gameI'm a bit more confident. Last season Albion were in perpetual decline in the second half of the season. Only the relegated sides performed worse. This season has been a lot more balanced. My feeling is that the race for Europe may come down to the number of places afforded. The only match that looks worrying 'on paper' is Liverpool. But even then, they should have won the league by that point. In fact, all eight are winnable. In theory.
Leicester should, I say should, be a buffet match. Let's hope Albion don't drop the plate.Based on previous Amex games this season I'm far more worried about the Leicester game![]()
I don't think they will.Like last season Crystal Palace will finish higher than us and have at least 1 trip to Wembley but it doesn’t matter because there ground is shit and we’ve got a cool fanzone

YepQuite an exciting game and I should have been more nervous than I was last 15 minutes.
Could not believe the slow passing backwards and side ways when we were down to 10 then 9.
TBH palace didn’t play that well but in truth didn’t need to.
I have read on this post about anti football palace play, ie defend solidly and break at pace, is that anti football ? Or is passing the ball 30 times in your own half just to lose it as soon as you cross the half way line ?
I was quite shocked at how slow Brighton move the ball they almost wait for the opposition to get back into position.
Very pleased with the double this season but don’t think we will get above you as we have some pretty hard games coming up.
