I was at the Newport game and at the time thought their player should've been sent off for jumping in studs up. It was a classic case of the ref sending someone off for the result but not the offence.

I’ve sat in a couple of funerals down the years and thought I was in the wrong service given the tributes bestowed on the departed.
I remember going there in the late 90s, its was the dubbed the new Seattle then.

Ermmmm . . . no. I was 7 years old at the time.
I have seen segregation mentioned on the Eastbourne Borough v Worthing thread, I remember when Newport played at Lewes there was segregation because the Newport fans caused problems on their previous visit to the Dripping Pan.
This would have been around 2008
The match the Newport fans were segregated i didn’t see any trouble and they just seemed like decent non league fans that day.
