He'll be RAGING that there were no Americans in the final shake up.

Yes you are right imo that religion isn't in itself as much a cause of the problems of humanity as some would like to think. If anyone thinks that the abuses of power that occur in such a situation would not occur if the religion was removed, they are sadly mistaken. I've often read and heard 'if only there was no religion'. Ostensibly this may sound like a solution, but it's simplistic in that it doesn't address, nor can it, the corruption that power and greed and the desire to dominate bring.
Unfortunately the concept of religion provides a bandwagon that those wanting to be seen as ‘righteous’ find all too easy to jump onto. Remove that bandwagon and the abuse of trust and faith loses respectability. Whilst nearly all followers of religion are good, honest and upstanding folk, they are often very gullible, hence their belief in fairy tales.

Completely agree - politicians have been ‘using’ that bandwagon for years - not just to appear righteous but because by aligning themselves strongly with a particular religion (usually Christianity in the West), they have appropriated a ready made captive audience for their political agendas.

Whilst nearly all followers of religion are good, honest and upstanding folk, they are often very gullible, hence their belief in fairy tales.
I have to disagree with this somewhat - some of the most flawed, discriminatory, judgmental and corrupt people I have met in my life have been ’religious’ - dressed in sheep’s clothing and all that.

I also don’t think ‘gullibility‘ is as bigger issue as people might think - you’d be surprised how many people are happy to go to Church or a Mosque for example but don’t really buy into some of the core tenets of the faith they claim to profess. (Which I guess is linked to your first point)

No.
Get this into your thick little brain: I don't give a shit about you, your religion, your family, your diagnoses, the name of your dog, your neurodivergent issues or where you've put your keys. You could be a pastafarian God from planet Pluto as far as I'm concerned. None of this plays any role in a) the matter of the fascist nazi-like govt of the US or b) that you - you personally, not "millions of people worldwide", is one of the most annoying, self-obsessed people I have ever encountered on the Internet. And I know annoyance, because I'm also very annoying. I am making a personal attack on YOUR shite personality.

Don't bother responding with some essay because I'm putting you on ignore permanently because in this and many other contexts I'm not interested in you, your life or your ideas that everything in the world circles around you. People have been trying to discuss Donald Trump, people have been trying to very nicely stop you from endless rants about all your f***ing problems, issues and personal sob stories. Pull your f***ing head out of your arse.
Took you of ignore to see what you had written as a response to another poster - I feel a liftetime ban coming on!!! Bye :bigwave:

Whilst I agree with your sentiments, it wasn't just one salute. There's also the strong support for ultra right wing German political parties, and for people like Tommy Robinson.
And in some tweets he apparently uses dog whistling number clues known to Nazi sympathisers (such as 88 ??iirc) - sorry, I am the opposite of an expert on this. He's been called out for this often, by Jake Broe and others.

He is such an out and out liar. There is a hundred percent likelihood that he believes none of that. Despicable. And I agree with earlier posters regarding many religious people being gullible. This trait is not confined to the religious, but as here with Trump, the religion combined with the gullibility is a powerful tool with which to focus abuse of power.

Just seen the medical report. Aside from few questionable figures, interesting to see the doctor can't spell scarring

Flip flop, flip flop.....

Trump suggests tariff exemption for China-made smartphones could be short-lived

Just an attempt to save face. These tariffs are an unspecified category with an unspecified implementation timescale of definitely, maybe sometime in the future. And they're special types of tariffs that encourage manufacturing back to the US. No details on how this last particular bit is acheived and how it's anyway differerent to normal tariffs, but you wouldn't know her; she goes to a different school.
