A couple of points I still want to vent somewhere...

Schooled by Ruud Van F***ing Nistlerooy, for what may be Leicester's last point of the season.

What was the point in signing Cashin if he doesn't even get a look in as 5th choice... It was Leicester at home... f***ing Leicester!

We can't score because we've coached the instinct out of the players. They receive the ball and consider their options: control, movement, look for others in better position, consider defender's position, consider goalkeeper's position, consider angle, shoot(?) cross(?) check wind, look for overlap, consider kicking foot and stride, wait-aren't I meant to pass it back if there are 3 defenders, or is that 4? CHANCE GONE. (Or half hearted cross-shot due to too much thought.)

A year ago these players just kicked the damn thing at the goal. It's not the players it's the coaching.

It's so slow and predictable, not to mention for the most part a dreadful watch. I know RDZ got a bit t**t like towards the end but at least I felt a modicum of excitement watching it. Besides comparing the two is pointless to a point, this season we supported FH with a £200M war chest, the season before we sold our crown jewels.

I have no doubt whatsoever we'd be sat where Forest are if RDZ had been here this season. Maybe it's just Potter Mk2 and he'll come good, before getting too big for his boots and believing he's special to leave us in the lurch before being found out elsewhere, where they'll likely have far less patience with his incompetence. Comes across as a nice bloke though.

Should have been out of sight at half time. Some brilliant football followed by woeful finishing.

At 2-1 players clearly felt the job was done, and collectively a series of showboating passes, flicks and the like from the 55min gave Leicester all the encouragement they needed to commit players forward and wrestle control of the midfield.

I thought Gomez coming in was a good shout but I’d have taken Adringa off rather than Minteh. I thought Adringa was one of the worse offenders for said giving the ball away.

This. Its happened several times this season (players felt job done) and we blow leads. The players should really know better shouldn't they?

I think it's a bit more predictable than you make out. Yes an individual match can go in an unexpected direction, but longer-term trends, even mid-trends can be predicted with a degree of accuracy.

For example I predict we will NOT win all our next six games.

Despite some disappointing results it is good to consider that we currently have 48 points to our name. Last season, under RDZ , we finished with 48 points total . There are still 6 games to go.
We must be doing better then . As for Europe, it’s complicated as to what league position you need . It all depends on who wins the Cup Final and if any English clubs win in Europe…
So we keep hoping

Predicting football results is a mug's game at the best of times. You only need to look at the success (or lack of) of people who place multi-game bets. If it was all so straightforward, all bookies would go bust.

One game at a time. No point in looking further ahead than that because - as we've seen regularly - it only ends in disappointment, anger and demands for people to be sacked!

No I didn't; winning six games in a row is quite an achievement for any club in any league. That's part of the reason why I'm predicting we won't win our next six. (That's before you take into account the quality of the opposition, our current form and injuries).

Social media, I think. Talking about how shit the team were on the train back over beers is now in the written word for all to see, which makes it look far worse. Add in the fact that the Albion are actually now an insanely good football team, that doesn't help either. Which I find a bit odd, but there you go.

I do find a lot of people who tweet during games contribute, if I managed to get enough signal or could be bothered to get my phone out to tweet what I thought during a game, I think it would be described as Toxic, but I generally keep that to myself, and have a beer on the train home and rationalise it. surely 90 minutes during the football is enough time to stop browsing social media for once. Far too many just say their opinion without a second thought during the game, and realise what stupid thing to say that was in hindsight (reaction to Webster mid game at Chelsea for example).

People are confusing hoping to win with expecting to win and stamping their feet if we don't.

As has been mentioned already, there are very few teams who don't 'buckle under the pressure', 'throw it away' 'bottle it' or any of the other nonsense things people are accusing us of at the moment. This season for instance every team in the Premier League could and has been accused of these things. Including the one that's about to win it.

What most are complaining about is the cut and thrust of football. For me it's all part and parcel of the enjoyment of the game, for others their only enjoyment appears to be winning. Man U fans are finding out the hard way that football has to be about more than that for it to be enjoyable.

As you say a day/afternoon out based around a game we may win or lose. Used to be for me anyway, now it is about sitting up with my son in the middle of the night or early morning and enjoying a game.
