What would be in your top 10 then?
In no particular order:-

Old Knucker
Old Peculiar
Tim Taylor's Landlord
Summer Lightning
Palmers IPA (can't believe someone else has mentioned that)
Red River
Ballards Nywood Gold
Entire Stout
Old Tumper
Hophead

Honourable mentions to my 'underaged' drinks.
HSB and Tanglefoot.

I can't believe I forgot to add, TEA by the Hogs Back Brewery.
Only had it in bottles but I love the stuff.

I agree its not something you can really argue over. You either like it or don't. I got into a discussion with a couple at a beer tasting over the merits of British Beer over Belgium. They were said they found British beer dull and could not compare to Belgium. First beer up and they raved about how great it was. Yes it was British
Well of course BRITISH beer is better than foreign muck! Except lager of course where the reverse is true - but let's keep this thread to proper drink and not kiddies training beer (aka British-brewed keg lager).

Stat Brother: Yes, Palmer's IS good. I have a couple of pints every Friday up at the Swan with my Thai.

Kelham Island Easy and Pale Rider, Exmoor Gold, Summer Lightning, Deuchars IPA, Harveys Hadlow, RCH Pitchfork, Harviestoun Bitter and Twisted and Oakham JHB are some of my faves. Don't see much Exmoor Gold these days.
Honourable mention goes to Gales Ordinary Bitter, before its name was changed to Butser, a beer I started off on when young.

Not really a fan of light beer but Daleside Blonde is rather nice

Wifey's family are West Dorset, so Palmers is kind of in my blood (certainly every couple of months anyway).
