Nope. More often than not attending out of habit. Seen more away wins this season than home ones - there’s only so many tedious draws you can take.

Very much so, I said pre-season under a new young head coach, a massive squad turnover, and a hangover from Europe and a poor end to last season that top ten and a cup run would be a very solid return for us, with a push for Europe a possibility.

We are exactly where I thought we’d be, and could be higher were it not for a shocking injury list throughout the season.

We’ve lost games we should’ve won, won games we should’ve lost, and find ourselves exactly where we should be in the table based on our squad’s ability.

Thoroughly enjoying it. Football, eh?

Yes. There have been ups and downs - just like any season. But spending time watching with the Bobkin Jnrs, regardless of what is happening on the pitch, is always a pleasure for me.

But then I'm just a sad facker who thinks there is more to life (or more important things going on) than football. Whatever happens, we start all over again next season with the same unreasonable expectations - ready to have them dashed by mid-September :lolol:

I also think this POLE is going to be skewed because it comes after a (on the face of it - I haven't seen anything) heavy defeat.

Gillingham was 28 years ago.

And it still haunts me!!

Can we possibly just move on and stop being grateful and humble

Err no!

and instead hope for progression and have ambition

Absolutely!!

without being constantly reminded how far we have come?

Err no!

Bournemouth and Brentford were in the bottom division not long ago.

Don't care, I don't support them.

I'm just a bit bored of watching the same old, same old. A team of lightning fast attackers who break slowly to give the opposition time to get back in position and a set of defenders who look like they are running through treacle.

We looked brilliant for about 10-15 minutes today - with 10 men - which makes all the laborious stuff with 11 all the more frustrating.

I never experienced Gillingham but I know what could have been besides 10th or so in the PL.

I have watched the Albion in all 4 divisions. More bottom 2 than others. However, after millions spent and 8 seasons in the PL how is it wrong to want better?

When you consider how much we spent last summer and the players we already had, I’d say it’s been a disappointment. It certainly feels disappointing. Expectations are there now, like it or not, many of the excuses from the past simply don’t apply.
