Not given up.
It wouldn’t take much for us to get into Europe for two reasons:
1) The number of places available
2) However poor our manager is we have match winning quality players in our squad who can win us games.

Not in the slightest.

A stonking win against Somerset and a couple of draws v Warks and Surrey give me hope that we can be competitive in the top flight.

GOSBTS!

Shame the football's gone to shit.

We're one point off eighth, and possible European football.

No, I haven't given up.

Back in the day when I were a nipper and my only connection with the Albion was through Dad's newspapers, I used to pore over the league tables in the Sunday paper frantically calculating to the last minute what we could do mathematically - could we still get promoted, or more often (it seemed, though obviously we've been promoted more than relegated since we were in division 3(S) - whether we could escape the drop.
Now I'm a tad more resigned to our fate - whatever that might be. Yes, I know mathematically we could still finish third, but I know damn well we won't! And yes, I'm quite sanguine about it. I'll be surprised if we do nick the final European spot; pleased, but surprised. It is what it will be.

I am now in ‘chilled’ mode. We are in a downward spiral at the moment but one result could turn that around. It’s been a tough season. Hope we end on a high even if we don’t qualify for Europe. Next season will be the crucial season.

Yes, after many many years I have given up my season ticket. The initial response post the 7-0 was amazing, until Webster got crocked and Dunk returned.
I'm fed up with the signings we make being loaned back to their parent clubs.
Although relegated today, Leicester had the balls to put a 15 year old doing his GSCE's on as a substitute.......

I know you’re an old timer (or I think you are?) so your positivity is refreshing! It’s like I was when I was young before I got ground down by much more disappointment than joy at football matches. It does make the great escapes or unexpected late runs particularly special though. I really hope that you are right
You see....when you are not born in Brighton, and don't have the club in your blood....
it is easy to lose interest in January when it seems unlikely we will win the premier league. ???

*ahem* Marching on together!

I'm on holiday next week and am absolutely delighted that we are flying home during the West Ham game and won't have to watch that shit either at the ground or via some wonderful streaming mechanism.

It's weird because if Man City get a massive points deduction 9th could get Europe but I can't see where our next win comes from at the minute.

If we can’t beat West Ham on Saturday then the seasons done. Give opportunities to players like Rushworth and youngsters like Howell before waving goodbye to Fab in the summer

I was not born in LEEDS  My mother did work there as a nurse though so spooky you said that!

I was born in Nottingham!

and I only gave up yesterday, not bad for a newbie of 25 years 😲

Thank f*** I didn’t support this club singing one of my most hated songs!

Madness to even think about giving up at this stage, every game a cup final from here on in but we can certainly still qualify for Europe. Keep believing!!
