He needs time to get things his way. He may or may not get time at West Ham. But 3 wins in 14 is pretty stark. The issue is even the best of times here were mixed with 6 straight defeats and long winless periods. We were a different level of expectation at that time. We wouldn't give that now I don't think. Look at this season, still in with a chance of Europe and more points than last season, still one of our best.

I really struggle to hate him. Anyone would take a 600% pay rise to leave a job and I never had an inkling that Barber or Bloom were particularly surprised or bothered by him leaving.

Fantastic manager for us and I hated the booing directed at him and Bruno at full time (club legend in my eyes).

No not at all. As others have said he did a decent job with us and made a decision to move on, fundamentally I think he’s a good bloke.

We all have career aspirations and he had his. He now needs to live the path he went down and the decisions he made but I don’t feel the hate others do, not nice seeing him broken.

I really liked and supported him as our manager, had he left us in a respectful way, one that showed regard for the opportunity and patience that TB had given him I would be gutted for him. But he didn't, I am sure he can afford a decent therapist with all the lucre he got for throwing us under the bus.
