He needs time to get things his way. He may or may not get time at West Ham. But 3 wins in 14 is pretty stark. The issue is even the best of times here were mixed with 6 straight defeats and long winless periods. We were a different level of expectation at that time. We wouldn't give that now I don't think. Look at this season, still in with a chance of Europe and more points than last season, still one of our best.

He’s clearly ‘suffering’. Not a comfortable watch.

I really struggle to hate him. Anyone would take a 600% pay rise to leave a job and I never had an inkling that Barber or Bloom were particularly surprised or bothered by him leaving.

Fantastic manager for us and I hated the booing directed at him and Bruno at full time (club legend in my eyes).
Bruno burnt his bridges, and the legend status went with it.

"Once a seagull"? He can get f***ed.

That look in his eyes! To suggest he's rattled is an understatement! And I love it!
I never like to see anyone in that state. It's just football, and as much as I want to thrash his teams every single time, I don't want to beat the 'man' down.
He strikes me as a person on the brink of a breakdown - I'm not cheering that - ever - no matter what went before.

I feel a little sorry for him, is that wrong?

No not at all. As others have said he did a decent job with us and made a decision to move on, fundamentally I think he’s a good bloke.

We all have career aspirations and he had his. He now needs to live the path he went down and the decisions he made but I don’t feel the hate others do, not nice seeing him broken.

Totally disagree. He deserves everything he's getting.

Did a good job for us.

Get the initial hatred, but now he’s just another manager for me.
This.

Genuinely indifferent to him now.

Perhaps though, among all his pish about history lessons and an easy life, he's now appreciating what he had whilst he was here.

I really liked and supported him as our manager, had he left us in a respectful way, one that showed regard for the opportunity and patience that TB had given him I would be gutted for him. But he didn't, I am sure he can afford a decent therapist with all the lucre he got for throwing us under the bus.

Yeah there’s no glee in watching a manager fall on his sword but I do think he makes it unnecessarily hard for himself:

That‘s a post match presser with a Manager that knows If you can’t keep your away fans loyal then the writing is on the wall.
