Didn’t bother going in the first place. Had a great afternoon non-leagueing. Delighted at the result at the Amex but had a great afternoon out regardless.
I was a WSU Remainer. No Amexit for meLoads around me in WSU. The 1st leavers left whilst it was still 1-1 around 80mins.
Such a strange one that goal. It didn't look real and there was second before I think most people had realised it had gone in. Certainly from the WSU I just thought he'd casually wafted it wide. Then when it was in I was certain it must have taken a mad deflection until the replays.Well the hardcore NS where I stand, had a queue at the steps to get out after WH's second, but people don't need to 'own up' to leaving early. It's still bloody funny whether they own up or not
And, I have to admit, my first FFS when Baleba hit it may have had a different motivation to my second FFS as it hit the back of the net![]()
It was weird. We are WSU level with the penalty spot, and were amazed when the net rippled. I think it was because the keeper was absolutely rooooooted so we thought it was going well wide.Such a strange one that goal. Yes but he saw most the game.Bloke a few seats away from me missed the first WH goal when he came back late from HT. Went to the loo for the second WH goal and then left a couple of minutes from end, before we scored our last two. That was some achievement
Spot on. Jack and Yasin very good in midfield today too.Wrong thread for it really, this one is for laughing at those who missed the exact thing most of us go to football for in the first place but same as much of the season really - the ongoing inability to be able to have a more or less settled starting XI must have done his head in this season. Dunk had a better game than of late and Baleba was immense, midfield was mostly alright and subs worked.
You, sir, are on fire on this threadI can understand why people leave early from evening games, particularly midweek ones, but I can't understand the need to leave before 5.00 on a Saturday. Is that a desperate need to get home to watch Michael McIntyre?
Yes the queue where they stand in front of those who have seats by the exit!Well the hardcore NS where I stand, had a queue at the steps to get out after WH's second, but people don't need to 'own up' to leaving early. It's still bloody funny whether they own up or not

Also a WSU Remainer but intrigued to find out if there were any Rejoiners and whether they outnumber the Leavers.I was a WSU Remainer. No Amexit for me![]()
Nobody ever seems to criticise the people that disappear 10 minutes before half time then reappear 10 minutes into the second half, they are even worse as haven’t gone to get trains etc
When I had a season ticket in the North Stand there was a guy in front of me who would turn up late as drinking with his mates, go back down on 35/40 minutes then reappear around the 50 minute mark then tear into anyone that left early, he didn’t really get it. My son today wanted to leave on 88 minutes, I said to him no you never know what can happen, hopefully he won’t be doing that again.Sensitive to their alcoholism?
Same I was so tempted to go when the 2nd went in so glad I talked myself out of itThat Beleba goal was an odd one, i'm in N1D and thought it was gonna hit us for a second then there was a second or 2 of nothing, everyone seemed to pause. Then all hell let loose. So glad I was one of the fortunate ones to have stayed as the thought had crossed my mind to leave early after their second one went in.
