Didn’t bother going in the first place. Had a great afternoon non-leagueing. Delighted at the result at the Amex but had a great afternoon out regardless.

Well the hardcore NS where I stand, had a queue at the steps to get out after WH's second, but people don't need to 'own up' to leaving early. It's still bloody funny whether they own up or not :lolol:

And, I have to admit, my first FFS when Baleba hit it may have had a different motivation to my second FFS as it hit the back of the net
Such a strange one that goal. It didn't look real and there was second before I think most people had realised it had gone in. Certainly from the WSU I just thought he'd casually wafted it wide. Then when it was in I was certain it must have taken a mad deflection until the replays.

It was weird. We are WSU level with the penalty spot, and were amazed when the net rippled. I think it was because the keeper was absolutely rooooooted so we thought it was going well wide.

Had a great view of the winner as we’re almost right behind it, so knew it was a goal as it sailed past the inside of the post.

But the extreme curl of the ball beforehand, meant initially we thought it was going wide.

I wonder if Baleba might be given some freekick on goal opps?

Wrong thread for it really, this one is for laughing at those who missed the exact thing most of us go to football for in the first place but same as much of the season really - the ongoing inability to be able to have a more or less settled starting XI must have done his head in this season. Dunk had a better game than of late and Baleba was immense, midfield was mostly alright and subs worked.
Spot on. Jack and Yasin very good in midfield today too.

Yes the queue where they stand in front of those who have seats by the exit!

Nobody ever seems to criticise the people that disappear 10 minutes before half time then reappear 10 minutes into the second half, they are even worse as haven’t gone to get trains etc

Sensitive to their alcoholism?
When I had a season ticket in the North Stand there was a guy in front of me who would turn up late as drinking with his mates, go back down on 35/40 minutes then reappear around the 50 minute mark then tear into anyone that left early, he didn’t really get it. My son today wanted to leave on 88 minutes, I said to him no you never know what can happen, hopefully he won’t be doing that again.

That Beleba goal was an odd one, i'm in N1D and thought it was gonna hit us for a second then there was a second or 2 of nothing, everyone seemed to pause. Then all hell let loose. So glad I was one of the fortunate ones to have stayed as the thought had crossed my mind to leave early after their second one went in.

Same I was so tempted to go when the 2nd went in so glad I talked myself out of it

The St Patrick’s Day Massacre of CP, huge numbers missed all 3 goals before and after HT. For what …. downing pints of Harveys or cheap lager out of plastic beakers.
