They’ll absolutely be selling talent but I think they are copying another south coast club’s transfer market techniques.

They will do it in a strategic way and will absolutely not lose most of their squad. I’d guess it would be a maximum of 3 players for £100m+. Perhaps these:

Dean Huijsen

Justin Kluivert

Antoine Semenyo

They have fully formed succession plans in place which I imagine, will guarantee them a top 10 finish next season.

Very poor judgement to underestimate this lot. Thank goodness the likes of Bloom and Hürzeler don’t!

The only way I can see Muff struggling is if they lose Iraola and go back to appointing donkeys.

7 managers in 3 years after Smug left before Iraola's arrival, several lasting about 6 months.

Very much agree with your post here but with one point of order - it's unlikely that a well run club like Bournemouth are selling their three biggest assets in the same transfer window. We sold Caicedo and Mac Allister in the same window, but we were still reasonably stocked in midfield after those sales (albeit nowhere near as good as we are now).

My guess is that Bournemouth will sell 1 or 2 of them but only if they can replace at least one.

I reckon the possible loss of a manager is a way to assess the clubs who are at risk of struggling next season.
Ange Postecoglou is very likely to part company with Spurs in the summer. His replacement stands a good chance of being one of the Premier League managers listed below.

Andoni Iraola at B’muff
Oliver Glasner at CP2010
Thomas Frank at Brentford
Marco Silva at Fulham.

However if any of the above manage to get into Europe they might be tempted to stay where they are.
I’d suspect Glasner and Iraola to be the most likely to receive more appealing offers from bigger clubs.

My money would be on West Ham, Wolves and Palace to be basement dwellers.

Sorry that’s laughable….how much money would you actually put Down on those 3 going down next season?

Bournemouth are just as well run as we are in the last few seasons. Even if they sell players they'll be fine.

Wolves are a basket case and if they sell Cunha they could be in a bit of hot water.

West Ham look a bit of a mess, but they have enough money to throw around that they will probably be fine.

Everton in their new stadium, it wouldn't surprise me if they had a bit of a resurgence.

Brentford might be in a bit of trouble when they finally lose Frank, but again a very well run club.

Man U and Tottenham, not likely, they just have too much money and even though they're not performing, both clubs still have several excellent players.

Palace will do their usual thing of playing crap for half a season to give us hope before hitting form later on.

I really want some of the promoted teams to make a proper go of it next season but... I'm not sure.

I'm hoping Leeds don't get relegated next season.
Because that'll mean they were promoted at the end of this season.

Keep Dirty down.
But is it funnier to see them bottle promotion again, or to come up then get walloped every week and go back down with a whimper?

I keep thinking Brentford will struggle then they never do. If/when Frank goes, I think that will be the start of their decline.

Only other team I see as competition for the three coming up are West Ham. Wolves will lose Cunha but will no doubt have some good replacements lined up through their 'connections', I reckon they will be OK.

If Brentford have still got Mbeumo and Wissa upfront next season they'll be fine again. If they haven't, I'm not sure the rest of their squad is anything special so they could drop down the table.

i wouldn't rule of Man Utd! Some of their players might want out if no European football next season. Some of you may think this season has been a freak one for them but they've struggled for a few years now and only a last minute run of form at the end of last season got them into Europe.. Might take a sneaky bet on them to be relegated, likely to be 10-12/1 ?

Didn't they spend a fortune on a striker who then got a bad injury and hasn't played all season?

Man United have done well in Europe this season, I wouldn’t put it past them to end up in the Champions League next season by winning the Europa League.

I think the standard of the competition in Europe has been rubbish though. For Spurs and Manunited to lose games and still be top must say something.

I think if some of the teams qualifying for Europe struggle, then we might see a bit more of a fight at the bottom.

I reckon Everton will be be mid table next season. Wolves and West Ham will be bottom half.

Unless Palace were raided this summer and made some unwise replacements, including the manager leaving, I cannot see any way in which they would be relegation candidates.

The important thing is maintaining the level of what a club has. Albion seem to be quite proofed at the moment. Although two bad transfer windows changes everything.

I've always said that the only gulf between teams who come up and the teams already there is how cute the promotion sides are in the transfer market. This season hasn't gone well for them. Next season could be different.

I've had many Leeds chats with a friend of mine in Yorkshire and seen most of their matches on TV this year. Good footballing side, but they need five or six clever signings otherwise they will struggle.

Of the prospective promoted clubs, I think Burnley will be most likely to surviv. They have a strong defence which is something you need for survival in those first couple of seasons in the Prem. something that has been lacking both this year and last year from the promoted teams

Am not suggesting Palace will get relegated but think this summers transfer window is going to be a big crossroads for them, and which direction they will go depends on how much Parrish will choose to reinvest in the squad.

If rumours are to be believed then there are clubs circling around Geuhi, Wharton, Eze and Mateta. If all 4 were to go then that leaves a big hole in their squad where they don’t appear to have to have the Depth of natural replacements so their recruitment will really decide whether they could get sucked into trouble. How much money will they need to ringfence for their supposed ground development ? On top of that Glasner has also been linked with other clubs too !

I will get the popcorn out and watch that situation with interest !

Sounding a note of caution, a crippling injury list can leave almost any side at risk. Man United have been pish and their squad unbalanced, but their long term injury list is horrendous. Without Bruno Fernandes they would be properly in the poo. Whatever depth you have, there are key players that you need to be starting the majority of games.

Equally, we have been fortunate this season that van Hecke and Baleba have, as well as being excellent, been physically robust. Had those two, plus Welbeck, joined the likes of Milner, Wieffer and Kadioğlu as sick room season ticket holders the run in we're looking forward to may have had a very different flavour.

This league can quickly bite your erky. Can't be complacent.
