Good one. It's a decent bit of kit, and it fits into a transit van.

Apparently, it can destroy attack drones, bombs, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles at a range of 3000m, and helicopters, aircraft and reconnaissance drones at 5000m, and can blind drones, missiles, helicopters and aircraft up to 10,000m away. It can also destroy ground targets.

Unfortunately the video didn't mention the range at which it can destroy supreme commanders-in-chief. That data may have to wait until beta-testing in the live environment.
What, you mean Trump?... ah no Putin!
Excellent range accuracy (well it's a laser 👍) - I wonder how many are built or in the pipeline?

Excellent. Have we helped them? Hope so.
I did see a short video somewhere, in which British forces were testing out one of these in the field. It must have been the first half of last year.
They used it to take down drones, so I got the impression that it was a short range device.

I don't know if we helped Ukraine with that or their own version, but the fact that they released the video at all, suggests maybe we did.

I've found it. It was on the BBC, although there isn't a video of it. Our version is called Dragonfire.

Reading between the lines, we have helped Ukraine.

I've read the article properly now. It questions the suitability of the UK laser for Ukraine because of the need for a reliable energy source, hinting at the national grid.
I have no idea what's required...I wonder what was in the Ukrainian van.

A glimpse into life in Russia.

8 out of 10 Russian marriages ended in 2024 ?? That can't be right can it?

Perhaps Russian men are misogynistic bullies and modern women don't think they have to put up with that shit in 21st century.

Yep. That kind of fits. Couple it with the birth rate of 1.4 per woman/couple (Russia needs a birth rate of 2.1 to sustain its population).

Who in their right mind wants to raise a child in Russia?

Russia is dying. Regardless of what happens in the war, it is dying. Putin knows this. It is why he advised women to have eight children. Not going to happen.

And another reason for invading neighbouring countries, stealing children etc.

Not great. Does Trump still think Putin wants peace?

Trump and his cronies will push even harder for an agreement whereby Russia gets the four provinces they don't even fully occupy, Trump claims peace, the Nobel prize, any remaining minerals etc.
F**k off,Trump.

The 8/10 feels wrong.
Even so, one reply reminded that domestic abuse was decriminalized in Russia in 2017.
If Putin had a brain he'd make divorce easier, not harder, as a living single woman is still more likely to have kids than a dead one 😕.

6500km away. Either drone range has more than doubled, or Churchill was right. There are things going on in Russia which we don't get to hear about until the bones are flying out of the sack. (ref. Churchill's quote on Russian intrigue being like two bulldogs fighting in a sack).
Yes, a lot of things are happening that we don’t yet know about. But as we’ve previously speculated on here Ukraine must have its Paddy Mayne equivalents working behind the lines - and apparently doing a fantastic job

It's disgusting isn't it - at least 34 dead.
Has Trump denounced it yet? Witkoff? Kellog? Rubio? anyone from the negotiating team.
They are all complicit with their negotiations that fully favour Russia and lack of any extra sanctions 😡.
