stewards should do there jobs

today behind me in the woods people watched the game for free the stewards are suppost to stop them........the club can get a fine.....not only that they started shouting and throwing sticks and members of the crowd....

Its not a football league rule, its a condition that we have with playing at Withers.

All this aggro with stewards completely passes us lot in the family stand by. They always appear to be a friendly helpful bunch. A smile and a joke with the kiddies, very patient for Withdean first-timers who can't find their seats. Let the people at the back stand up.

I saw someone getting escorted from the woods some time before the match kicked off, by (gasp) a STEWARD!

Maybe it was actually the steward that was throwing members of the crowd?

If not, why not??

edit.... the person I saw behind the fence doing the escorting, was wearing a hi-vis jacket, so may have been a construction worker or a lollipop lady. Objection upheld, and I withdraw my assertion as mere conjecture m'lud.
