Liverpool and Newcastle at home. Wolves and Spurs away. What’s our points total?

I’ll go four. I can’t see two home defeats but a win and a draw away.

I suspect It all depends on what happens next weekend.

Villa vs Fulham
Arsenal vs Bournemouth
Brighton vs Newcastle

Ours is undeniably the toughest challenge, with Villa and Arsenal both misfiring at present, and Arsenal with other priorities.
We need to pick up something against Newcastle, and hope Villa and Arsenal don't lose, to stay in the hunt.

Good to see the long awaited "reaction" on Saturday.
But we will need to be a lot better on Sunday.

An optimistic 6. I think we'll surprisingly win 2 games. Spurs is a given, but one of the others will conveniently roll over.

I reckon 4. I can’t predict from which games though.

We are averaging 1.5 points a game so 6 is realistic.

Newcastle - flying unfortunately
Wolves - turned around, near the top of the recent form table
Liverpool - could go either way, confident procession by them, or a hungover pre-beach amble
Spurs - should win, concentrating on EL
Wolves form is impressive but three of their 6 wins have been Leicester, Saints and Ipswich. The other three - Spurs, West Ham and United so bizarrely they’ve played the bottom 6 in a row. And unlike us - won them all.

Altho We’ve beaten 5 of the bottom 6 this season and United twice. Still to play Spurs again of course

Villa, 6 pts ahead of BHA & Fulham, could still get dragged into the race should they lose their next two games. Except that would aid Fulham as much as us.
And we've still got that spanner. Palace in the cup final.

Probably best not to get too caught up in the run-in.

You just know if we get 8th, the Nigels will win the cup and STEAL our European place.

On the other hand, as @Wozza pointed out to me yesterday, it could be absolutely delicious if Palace turn up at the cup final knowing that defeat not only means no trophy and no Europe, but also hands us a European place - and they get dicked.

I think we still will have 2 games to play AFTER the cup final.

I've been so obsessed with the opposite scenario, I had literally not even considered that possibility.
