I know its all been said before but, at this stage of the season, with the club apparently wanting to fill seats (its not all about the money, hmm) who is going to want to fork out Albion+ membership, for a month so surely it would make sense for a STH to be able to pass on their seat for nothing, like 1901ers can, even if its for say the last 3 or 4 games of a season. The ticket exchange can stay the same if the STH wants their 1/19thx90% back if it sells.
You seem to be suggesting that ST holders who cannot be bothered now the season is coming to an end should he able to transfer their tickets on for free. This goes against the commitment you make to the season by buying the ST in the first place. All things considered, and there’s a lot, I think the club have got the right balance.

Well, you've paid very good money for the use of it.

The great majority of other things in life you pay for the use of ..... I dunno, a reserved train ticket, a car parking space, a cinema ticket ....... if you choose to give them away you can and the seller couldn't care less. I understand why people get pissed off about this.

I have less sympathy for the clubs stance. They know who has paid for the seat. If I give my seat to my twat mate, who throws a haymaker at a steward, I get banned. I think that's well understood
Oh ... and ...

For the umptieth time, you don't need Albion+ membership to buy off the exchange

We can't make the game on Saturday and while I'd love to give our tickets to friends for nothing they don't really want to pay the £38 or whatever to become Albion+ members and I can't blame them. So that means the tickets are going on the ticket exchange where, based on previous results, I have an infinitesimally small chance of them ever selling. Great.
I think it probably depends a lot on where your seats are. I’ve listed them I think 5 times over this season & last and they have sold every time usually within about an hour of me listing them.

My seats are lower tier in the east stand almost level with the centre circle 10 rows back.

Isn't this actually quite a grey area? As in if you are buying a reserved train ticket that is specifically named for you, then you can't pass it on to a mate for free (Eurostar for example).

I think that the exchange is good, it often opens way too late which makes it annoying for fans, but ultimately, the tickets are named, and the club can't legitimately allow passing on of tickets. Season tickets are different to a car parking space and the exchange is the good compromise.

Done a Frexit, now in London
Wife and I do 2 days a week in London, we alternate our days so someone is home for the child. We share our train season ticket. Is this not allowed?

From thetrainline.com:

Can I share my Season ticket?

No, you can’t share a Season ticket, including Monthly Season Tickets. These tickets are assigned to a specific person and are non-transferable. For your Season ticket to be valid, you must show your matching Photocard when asked.

East Upper. Pair of them. Second row back. Midway between halfway line and the South Stand.

Just far enough away from LDC
I sold my usual ticket for the Leicester game on the exchange and then bought it back for a guest of my wife.

I could have then only charged the gap between the ticket sold price and what I got back (about a fiver) of swallow the cost myself (which I did)

So they only want to go if it’s free?

Put me in that bit of the ticket price Venn diagram.
So many seem to think it is so terriblle that a seat that has been paid for should be given away free. So many of our crowd have enjoyed over years treating someone who at this time could not justify the expense of buying a ticket.. Or on several occasions taking someone we know who would not dream of attending on own because of health issues. Can even remember picking up an 85 y.old relative from his care home and he still talks about it. Our crowd are always happy to give ticket away but not pay for someones membership each time.
Whilst I may not agree with present system as it doesnt suit us I accepted this a long time ago and just comment when subject comes up. I would like to see ability to give ticket away 3 times to people that dont have to pay £30 plus to be a member for one game. Maybe would help cost if there was option not to have the accompanying gift which am sure often finds it way to the bin. Of course ticket exchange is great for those that want to get money back but when it opens very late especially evening games I have no doubt it is a reason for so many empty seats
