Blockbuster? Glad I didn't make the game as might not have handled the shame of having a Matalan card. And had they scoffed at a 60 year old carrying an Iron Maiden fan club card I'd have kicked off!

Following complaints received from a number of members we contacted the Football Supporters Association who advised that they were aware of this issue at Brentford and that this is an issue which keeps cropping up.hammersunited.com
My brother David, who worked at Blockbuster headquarters in McKinney, Texas before they closed it, still lives in McKinney, has helped a collector get some of the Blockbuster items. If anybody has any Blockbuster items that collector might be interested in purchasing them.

Someone next to me challenged the need, and the officious response from the senior steward was, “it’s a condition of entry mate, you don’t have to come in.”

I carry a very minimalistic wallet when going to games. Just a couple of cards in case I end up someone which is cash only and I need to get some cash out. But also my driving licence in case of an ID check. There's no way I'd just carry my driving licence in my pocket as much more likely to loose it.
If I'm just heading out locally, I often don't take my wallet and will just rely on Apple Pay for coffee/cake purchases and a bit of shopping etc.

Same for me. He was extremely thorough. Half expected an 'intimate' physical examination the way things were going. It's only Brentford v Brighton, mate...
That’s an interesting point about data protection. A wallet can contain a lot of personal and sensitive data. I wonder what processes Brentord have in place to protect this in the hands of a load of random stewards….quite possibly nothing.And there's more ...

This is the kind of thing an independent football regulator could be interested in I'm sure
I have a wallet for work that has credit card, debit card, Screwfix account trade card and driving licence. Always carry some cash to use for food or occasional small materials where I haven’t got an account.
Football I carry a small wallet with debit card and I have a photo season ticket card that the club issued for free when they stopped doing the old ST card, it has expired but could be useful for ID.
Also carry cash as I may want something on my way home.
