I think Warren was absolutely spot on for his criticsim of Minteh. He is behaving like a mardi little so and so and isn't working for the team. Same with Pedro and I really appreciate him noting when Baleba didn't cover him team mates.

These three players have appalling attitudes at times. Not always but since the international break it's been about them and not the team. I don't want players like that playing for BHA unless they sort it out.

I'm a big fan of both Johnny and Warren, I appreciate the candour they bring to their commentary. Much better than the bland generic commentators you get on TV and I appreciate the commentary coming from an Albion perspective rather than neutral.

In terms of what I heard yesterday, Warren pulled up Minteh for not tracking back and then backchatting his Captain who was offering words of advice. Sounds about right to me. Likewise Pedro criticised for cutting back with the ball rather than passing to a runner, something he is often guilty of.

WA is paid to give his opinions - and he usually, IMHO, seems to know what he's talking about. We paid a lot of money for Minteh, and he hasn't really developed much this season - in recent weeks indeed he seems to have gone back from where he was when he first replaced Adingra.
Minteh has five goals and four assists in his first PL season (with 5 games to go). That's some return for a 20yo. Perhaps you could inform us of other 20yos that have done better this season?

I stopped listening some time ago . Its hurts enough when we are crap. So i give it a miss mainly because of him. It's good he has passion but needs to channel it in a far better more helpful way.

I think FH has used Minteh too much. He’s relied on his pace and tracking back and yet I think Solly should have been used more over the past month. There’s a good player in there re Minteh but he’s very young and needs to learn.
Sometimes WA is harsh with his criticism but he’s usually right.
This. Better decision making that will come with experience and using his right foot will prove Minteh to be a good player.

He has mentioned his , so he’s clearly aware and knows he needs to improve. Which is a good thing.

It’s been bubbling and yesterday was the day I thought “f*** off”

That’s probably worse than losing the faith
I’m with you on that. Had my concerns at his lack of tactical nous from very early on and my negativity has been ‘bubbling’ but kept under control until Saturday. Have been expecting a ‘reaction’ in a positive way since the loss to Villa but it hasn’t come, and if he can’t provoke a positive reaction when the stakes are so high then that’s it for me.
I can sense it in Warren and Johnny’s demeanour too. Warren just has more difficulty keeping it under control, which in many ways I like.

I'm down on Minteh too, especially as he keeps getting the minutes and not doing the business. I'm also down on Estupinan, he really is isn't a good defender, always out of position always giving fouls away.
I take everyone's point about Minteh, but as l pointed out earlier in the thread, he is still only a kid in Premier League terms, and hadn't even graced any of the English pro leagues since coming here.

Maybe the answer is to play him more sparingly, but of course this season we have had little choice but to keep him in the firing line. Next season l've a feeling we will start to see him really kick on.

I just don't think FH can motivate the team. He needs to rip into them rather than being the perpetual nice guy. Too many shirkers in the ranks already in their sandals on the beach
