What you’re describing there is medium term progression with a few blips. Not some five or ten year plan. And I largely agree.Absolute bollocks. Look where we are now compared to when we were in the Championship. Look at the depth of our squad. How many clubs have gone up and down since then? We have consistently strengthened the club in all areas through having an actual model and a strategy and long-term plan, which is why we haven’t been a yo yo club and why we have never been in serious danger of relegation. But success doesn’t come in a straight line, there are always bumps and wobbles along the way, and that means seasons as well as individual games / runs.
From your post it seems you disagree with Bloom’s strategy and that you know better than him. Would you agree with that statement?
My concern at the moment is that we’re moving away from that, not just with results but with our style of play and many player regressions.
