I admit i'm slightly surprised by the sheer amount of people who are giving up on the player.

Yeh he seems to have a bit of a discipline issue, but he's miles off the worst we've had.

Posting photos of him by a pool was dumb when we'd just got beat and made him a hostage to fortune, which then went really tits up. Dumb yes, but isn't that a shrug and blame modern footballers rather than vilify the bloke

He tried a few things which haven't come off yeh, but he's also provided real moments of quality in recent weeks. I don't see that he's the worst current offender for playing for his highlights reel.

I just think this is all a bit over the top. Only a few weeks ago he rightly got plaudits for going over to Hinsh after he missed a pen. I din't think he's all petulant youth.

Whatever, maybe he's off somewhere, but if he is, we want top dollar right? Best just to get behind him after his ban

I’m in the camp of not doubting there is a player in there, but I am bitterly disappointed with the sending off. Let the fans and his teammates down hugely. I imagine Welbeck is far from pleased with him, being that he’s now our only available forward for three matches.

I think that he would improve Liverpool which is mental given the league position. I say this because if he was at Liverpool he would play a different role and at a big club he would not feel the need to be main character.

Done deal to Liverpool in the summer, which is why he has been on the beach since January, physically and metaphorically.

Unpopular opinion (or not) but I think he's always been a bit overrated. Takes a good pen and is an amazing "big moment" player, which will suit him when playing for a top 6 side, but he's often been a passenger.
When a game's not on tv I think he drops several levels. I actually think he's desperate for attention all the time. It explains the crowd jeeing up he does, the way he lashes out when he's frustrated, it even explains the holiday post to some extent. He needs to be being talked about, for good or bad.
He's put in some massive shifts for us in fairness and I do like the guy but then again he's also been a petulant twat when it suits him.
At this point I think his attitude has gone completely and he's waiting for the summer window to leave. All in all, a disappointing end to a potential club legend imo.

Every premier league game is on TV, you do realise they are shown worldwide, ?

Won’t be and would never have been a club legend……..never going to stay long enough.

He's one of those players that you appreciate having, but never really bond with.
You know he's not going to be here very long, will have some great moments, but won't leave lasting affection.

I'll be gutted when Gioirginio goes (and Rutter) as I was with Bissouma, MacAllister and Pascal.

Hopefully he won't leave in the Cucurella/Trossard/Caicedo mode, but he'll leave without many of us batting an eyelid.

I’m not bothered if he goes this summer or not in all honesty, he takes a good penalty, but he’s hardly prolific in open play.

He annoyed me with his constant “geeing up the crowd” business, almost making out that it was our fault the players weren’t trying hard enough.

I’m pretty ambivalent about him truthfully, he’ll certainly not be remembered as one of the clubs greats.

I disagree, Liverpool need an out and out striker, Pedro defo isn't that, he's more of a number 10 roaming where he wants, the doesn't suit Liverpool currently, just my opinion, but don't think Liverpool be right for him.

Unless he stops slowing the game down and doing needless touches, he won't be going to Liverpool. He kills almost every counter attack we have with this incessant 3 or 4 touch move he seems to always do. The one on the half way line where he receives it, take another touch inside, takes another touch, waits for the other team to get back, takes another touch and then plays a simple pass.

Meanwhile our wingers are bombing it up the line.
