Slightly Nerdy, Hulu is part of the Disney group now. And technically you could get either of those via Amazon Fire TV as an added subscription. Clear as mud.In the US it's on Hulu

Tony, pretty much went shit or bust in the promotion season, taking us to the limit of what FFP would allow. We were promoted twice, and I don't think we were among the top few spenders either time.
And English fans NEVER boo a national anthem!Wow a big surprise a bunch of Welshmen boo the English national anthem!

So much so that we would have been unlikely to go again, in the following season had it failed.
So I suspect we were very close to the top spenders in the season we were promoted to the Premier league.
Depending on how you define "top spenders" of course.
Argus BHA 2016/17 FinancesThat doesn't ring a bell for me. Have you got any links?
My definition is based on how much profit/loss a team made, for FFP purposes.
Sure - but your original post was: "and I don't think we were among the top few spenders either time"The Argus one covers the loss, which also took into account bonuses that wouldn't have been paid had we not been promoted.
El Pres's article (and I challenge anyone to read the whole thing without a nap) talks about the possibility of us scaling back had we not won promotion, but it doesn't compare our spend to other clubs. I'm not convinced we spent more, or lost more than the rest. I assume Wrexham have outspent the competition?

Even taking into account the Promotion bonuses, we lost £29m of a maximum of £40m over 3 seasons.
It would be highly unlikely that we weren't amongst the top few spenders in that season.
Yeah I'm just going from memory. I thought we were miles off the top spenders in League 1, and didn't think we made the top few in the Championship, but I could be wrong. I don't think our spending was comparable to Wrexham's.
why are they in the EFL?
Sadly, I perused the 2010/11 L1 accounts at the time (when all published). I think we had the 6th biggest spend. Stains spent on steroids, Lambert cost £1m ….making “are you keeping up?” all the more sweet.
I think our wages spend 2016/17 was about 6th excluding the bonuses? El Pres will know.
Thanks. How does this compare with Wrexham over the last 3 seasons?

Why do some Welsh clubs play in English leagues?
BBC Sport explains why some Welsh clubs continue to play in England, despite the launch of the League of Wales more than 20 years ago.www.bbc.com
Funnily enough that’s changing thanks to the Wrexhams of this world - there is more money flooding into the likes of League 1 these days than ever before. Other teams like Stockport also have rich owners.Next year will be interesting.
The gap between League 1 and the Championship is Sheffield Wednesday levels of massive
Conference - League 1 is much of a muchness
Agreed. I cannot understand those who are petty enough to upset by their rise and want them back in non-league. We moan often enough about bad owners (and we wrote the book on those!), and then two guys turn up who are patently brilliant owners - and people still moan!Wrexham's revival and the media circus has rubbed many lower league fans up the wrong way but I've got a lot more respect for wealthy owners picking a team lower down the pyramid.
I like the way they've gone about their investment and am pleased it's being repaid on the pitch. Will be interesting to see how they fare in the Championship.
I went to a decent number of league 2 games last year and most fans just wanted them promoted and out the league (along with Stockport tbf) due to their spending power making it impossible to compete with them.Agreed.
