Thought he did well particularly in the first half, faded a lot in the second, but then MOR gave him very little support, and it allowed Leicester to take control

Do you think MOR should be far more advanced in a formation? His best Celtic stuff in a Micky Mouse league was operating in the Gross/Rutter role.

Seemed so physically weak when Soumaré drove at him, man against boy.

Standing in the way of control
Our fans are embarrassing at the best of times but guys in the north gave him so much abuse at the final whistle that in the end he responded (with a thumbs up). Nothing done even though they were making threatening gestures.

He’s 21, in his first Premier League season and playing for a banter era manager, by the way Clive

I can‘t remember exactly, but I recall he was a very young no 10, with South American fight. Did nsc write him off?
Not sure people wrote him off but his first season was nothing to write home about. Alot of these lads will be much better next season purely from having played a load this season.

Yes, but apparently he’s forgotten how to finish, or more likely had so much time in the SPL, he could take a touch and look up, there was little need for him to be instinctive.

Really on the fence with him, and to be honest was unimpressed when we signed him.

I know it seems very unlike strategic TB, but both the MOR and Ferdi signings felt a bit like later transfer window getting the bodies in. On the top secret Starlizard spreadsheets I wonder if they were way down the targets pecking orders?

I think we were after Ferdi for some time and he does look a good player IMO.

I don’t understand MOR, as surely the analysis weights the fact he’s playing in a crap league, similarly Cashin, poor bloke, I wonder on that one too….

Ayari, decent player and did OK.

But his finishing will cost him his place in the side once we get the chance to put Hinsh back in midfield

TB obviously looks at a profit on sales. Can only assume that Starlizard told him that Cashin and MOR were significantly under their true value.

Great call.

Wondering if Atalanta will come back for MOR.

Cashin, I don’t know…… can’t see us getting close to what we paid, but who knows, a good preseason and he be better

The drop off in midfield is pretty bad considering we’ve gone from Mac & Caceido to the likes of Ayari within two seasons. He seems to be Fabs golden boy which is strange hill to die on ( for Fab). People will argue about the policy although you can understand why RDZ wanted an experienced midfielder in the door.

I’m thinking CM pivot for Cashin. Lacks the pace and height for a PL CB. I know people here say we’re brimming with DM’ers, I’m not so sure how many love the defensive side of CM play …. for 90 minutes, sniffing out danger.

Just a thought.

Yes we said that after Villa.
Can certainly pass, physically strong, just not at CB.

He’s a very neat little player who could probably end up anywhere between a future captain or the next Steven Alzate. Not sure he’s the issue this season.

Re Cashin. People need to stop this. Same happened with Ben White, note that ended years ago.
Central midfield is a totally different game to CB. It’s very very difficult to move from an entire career with everything in front of you to being in the middle of the park.

FH’s St Pauli formation was two DM pivots interchangeable with a ball playing CB advancing forward. Occupying the same areas.
