AS i have posted that is not the issue it's the lateness of being able to do it yet being asked to do a time limited survey. That is wrong.

I’ve just read your other reply concerning your illness and on the face of it the club’s action seems harsh, esp if it’s the only time you haven’t used your ST this season. Maybe you should have called and asked for Joel

Can certainly understand the frustration, but unless you tell them it‘s just a datapoint they’re acting on. The club seem to be using a bit of a ‘blunt instrument’ approach but can’t cater for every eventuality when trying to shut down the pisstakers. Hopefully as they ‘learn’, accounts will be suitably marked so they don’t need to ask
They simply have no right to personal information. All they need to look at is history of the said person. His LOYALTY points alone are enough.
If they don’t have information, they have the right to bracket everyone together unfortunately. ST Points (they’re not called Loyalty any more) don’t take changing circumstances into account.
Surely if personal information held by the club is properly managed and helps prevent misunderstandings I can’t see a problem.

As I have posted my son missed 3 matches. 2 of which his wife was on life support. Giving him a time limited survey to fill out to why he didn't attend is out of order. You wouldn't have it from a boss at work let alone your football club over your use of a seat for which he has paid for!
I think the suggestion is that if you inform the club of an illness or disability, then your account would get flagged requiring an extra layer of checking/manual intervention before the snotty email is sent

Because the club, and most of those attending, don’t want empty seats……….

Are you seriously saying you should disclose your illnesses or disability to the football team you support prior to attending, in your free time, a football match? Unless you may need assistance.
