Genuinely I'm watching the highlights. Which goal is this? It doesn't show that much build up before. Which goal?Yes you are, giving the ball away in front of goal isn't great for a start!

That didn't happen did it.........Yes you are, giving the ball away in front of goal isn't great for a start!
Rushworth needs to be given a chance now it’s gone on too long
Agree sadly. I’d be supportive of Steele taking over for the remainder of the season but don’t see the benefit as he’s obviously not the long term answerWith Steele back, he's not even going to make the bench by the looks of it. Feel for him, as it's been a wasted year.
Ah, so it's this goal. Where the player who Bart plays it to (I guess 40+ yards from goal....)then passes it to this guy, with us having 6 or 7 players back, Brentford slowing down play, making a few more passes before it deflects in....... and that's Bart giving a goal away.
Got it.
GET RID.

So no one else could have done anything about it?Yes...
So no one else could have done anything about it?
But if he doesn't gift them possession the whole scenario does not happen. So no one else could have done anything about it?
If you did that for every goal conceded you'd drive yourself mad.Maybe. But if Bart doesn't pass it to their player, that goal doesn't come about.
Again, you could rewind every goal ever conceded and find someone to blame way before the goal is even scored because they gave the ball away. The spin that some have put on it that he simply gave Brentford a goal is mad.But if he doesn't gift them possession the whole scenario does not happen.
Exactly, full backs pushed up, quickly retreating, Brentford with 4 pushed up.Maybe. But if Bart doesn't pass it to their player, that goal doesn't come about.
Sorry @mejonaNO12 aka riskit but I’d say you’re putting a fairly significant spin on it arguing the other way.Again, you could rewind every goal ever conceded and find someone to blame way before the goal is even scored because they gave the ball away. The spin that some have put on it that he simply gave Brentford a goal is mad.

Agreed. He was not under any pressure when he played that pass, it was just sloppy.Exactly, full backs pushed up, quickly retreating, Brentford with 4 pushed up.
I’d say that pretty categorical in terms of playing a major part in giving the goal away. He couldn’t have saved it, but like Forest, Fulham, Chelsea, (off the top of my head), it was Bart needlessly giving the ball away.
He was a major contributor!Again, you could rewind every goal ever conceded and find someone to blame way before the goal is even scored because they gave the ball away. The spin that some have put on it that he simply gave Brentford a goal is mad.
Yes an absolutely terrible pass which put us on the back foot with 7 Brentford players pushing forwards against our 6 in our third leading to a goal.I assume you mean the second goal where the highlight of the goal starts here with the player nearest the ref having just passed the ball? So he's received the ball near the halfway line with players back? That one?

The problem is that we are playing a style that is completely unsuitable to a defence with Lewis Dunk in it. If we had two pace merchants at CB it might be ok but to belligerently continue to play like that is suicide. More depressing than that though was Brentford only had to go up half a gear and to a man won every personal dual in the period after half time.Very much this. We finished the 1st half much the stronger & to start the 2nd half like that was criminal. I think it’s clear the defence have lost confidence in him & that causes all sorts of issues.
