Let's hope the queue on the Hollingbury slip road for Coldean lane doesn't tail back on to the A27 single lane, because that will stop everything dead.
Just looking on the bright side.!

There’ll still be some smug sod who posts to say he was home 10 minutes after the whistle and is currently tucking into a beer, in Lancing.
"Yeah, wasn't a problem for me. Was home in more than enough to time to see South-East Today with Piers Hopkirk..."

I come from Lewes and park at uni, but seriously reconsidering attendance tonight... If they close the A27 both ways, I can't see how anything other than utter gridlock around the stadium for hours after the match will ensue. Surely that can't be right!?

“All 8 of us did a leisurely stroll to the train which was waiting at the platform for us. As ever we all were able to sit together on the train and have a few more beers. Don’t know what all the fuss was about. You just have to time these things well”

I agree completely. I keep on waiting for an update that says they are suspending the road closures for tonight. If not, it really is going to be complete and utter pandemonium before and after, no matter which option you try

When will it start backing up? Google maps currently has Shoreham Flyover to Bridge Car Park as 23 minutes.

edit: just gone DOWN to 21 mins.
