Glad we got the "frequent golf victories" into the medical report summary. I wouldn't believe what was written otherwise

It's the victory detail that is particularly amusing and shows the complete lack of awareness. Let's be honest, a medic writing a health report on a late-70s man could realistically put that the subject regularly participates in golfing events as a demonstration of their general health. However, he had to make sure that victories were specified, didn't he? It's all very Kim Yong Il.

This is, of course, a smokescreen for Sony to increase their EU profit margins / subsidise their US sales - a Japanese company manufacturing products in China & Japan for direct import and sale to Europe, with no US nexus.

We all need to be careful what we wish for though. On the one hand, China tanking the US Dollar is very funny and a devastating response from China - it's real power vs Trump's imagined glory. They can really hurt the US economy if they want to, but at what cost? To themselves, to Europe, to the world...

He is such an out and out liar. There is a hundred percent likelihood that he believes none of that. Despicable. And I agree with earlier posters regarding many religious people being gullible. This trait is not confined to the religious, but as here with Trump, the religion combined with the gullibility is a powerful tool with which to focus abuse of power.

He's bitten off more than he can chew. Apart from the fact that China probably is reasonably resilient with having a 85% of it's exports going elsewhere in the world, there's the more sinister side in that the CCP doesn't have to worry about political damage by refusing to back down, whereas Trump has the mid-terms to deal with in 18 months time.

Donald Trump Wants CBS Off-Air After New '60 Minutes'—'Out of Control'​

President Donald Trump accused CBS News show 60 Minutes of referring to him in a "derogatory and defamatory way" on a nearly weekly basis, and called for the network to be taken off air.

Writing on Truth Social on Sunday evening, Trump said he had watched 60 Minutes and called its reports on Ukraine and Greenland "two separate but highly inaccurate stories" about him.

Trump's tirade against the broadcaster is the latest salvo in a long-running dispute with the press, which has seen him accuse some sections of the media of bias against him.

Last year, Trump filed a lawsuit against CBS News over its 60 Minutes interview with Harris. His legal team sought $20 billion in damages after they accused CBS of "partisan and unlawful acts of election and voter interference through malicious, deceptive, and substantial news distortion calculated to confuse, deceive, and mislead the public." CBS hit back, saying the Harris interview simply underwent a typical editing process in which answers may be cut down.
