So I've just looked at the remaining fixtures.
Why are game 34 spread over 6 days? Man City v Villa Tuesday, Arsenal Wednesday, the also rans Saturday and the big clubs Sunday?

Man City vs Villa and Arsenal vs Palace on Tuesday and Wednesday are games that have been brought forward from next weekend cause of the FA Cup semi finals in which 3 of those teams are involved.

Forest have had their game against Brentford re-arranged for 1st May.

Can we chant f@*$ Sky all game long? We used to sing We want Falmer. Don't remember Sky being there in the dark days.

Crowd safety would be one as Falmer station is not fit for purpose with overcrowding. I've walked back to Lewes three times due to the reduced service.
Also, from the club's viewpoint customer satisfaction. I'm sure the attendance will be down and the club's match day income will take a knock.
Monday 8pm kick offs don't work for anyone outside the Brighton area.
I take it you’ve never worked in London and had to use the underground regularly

Was about to say the same thing. No one pretends the evening train service is great but squeezing onto a very crowded train is pretty much done after a game at every ground worldwide where trains are used and on hundreds of rush hour trains every single day. I'm afraid thats never going to change even when the monorail gets built.

They'll never broadcast it.

They have microphones all around the stadium. If there's an offensive chant, the soundman just moves a joystick so the TV audience hears a different crowd section.

And I guess they have a backup ambient sound just in case the entire crowd is signing something in unison (unlikely at The Amex).

I was going to ask if there could be a protest. Maybe fans take the seats after 7min or something?

Reality is, most people bothered about the fixture change won't be there...

Surround sound can be quite fun sometimes. Out of my system’s left hand channel speaker, the Fulham fans could clearly be heard singing “Sky TV is f***ing shit” … on repeat 😱
I heard the Fulham fans loud and clear Monday evening - see my post above. It went on for some time.

I think you've got the wrong end of the country. I mean Albion fans who live outside of Brighton, quite a lot of us travel over an hour for home games.
Saturday 3pm kick offs are much better for us, opposed to Monday at 8pm.

We get £1m from Sky for the game no doubt, plus we know how other teams have done over weekend
Legacy fans put their tickets on Exchange
Tourist ( PL target market fans, but no one can publicly admit this ) have a weekend in London before the game
Club make more profit selling Exchange tickets at full price

There’s great cutting and scratching potential for joystick man when the north stand get their three-songs-at-the-same-time going.

I probably live as far away if not further than most - it’s a 8 hour return trip on a weekday. On weekends it’s usually 12 hours return because of engineering, staffing shortages, bus replacements, no direct trains and on Sundays, reduced services etc.

When you speak for “us” living outside Brighton, please bear in mind you are not speaking for all of “us”. We are not an homogeneous group!
