This is a serious post and I'm looking for help or some advice as another resident of where I live has threatened to f**king get rid of my Terry and also said he would KILL him. I've reported him to the manager of here who has done nothing , this has been going on for a bit now as he left out poisonous plants to hope Terry would chew on them. The housing management of the council have done nothing , made it out to be Terry's fault and they are on this idiots side. I've spoken to the police and they've been around this morning but I don't what they will do as they haven't done much before.
I know there are some very good people on here who helped Terry before so anyone who has any ideas I'd be most grateful as I couldn't face anything happening to him.

This is shocking. I can understand this will be stressful for you. I don't have any experience in this area other than I hope the police can act and help. Are any of the threats recorded? Either audio or in writing?

A call to the RSPCA who have a lot of powers. Don't give up on the police. Record and keep discussions with the neighbour.

That t@sser may hold back if he's well aware that the police and RSPCA are fully aware.

You may have to keep Terry in sight for good.

Good luck.

'this has been going on for a bit now as he left out poisonous plants to hope Terry would chew on them'

That is a criminal offence.

I suspect a visit from plod would see the neighbour deny such actions. But a visit from plod would normally be enough.

You could have a pizza delivered to him with just enough laxative to keep him on the loo for the night.

Bloody hell that must be so stressful for you, and I know you don't need any more.

Sorry, I have no positive ideas. I think @Weststander's advice in post #8 is a good start. The RSPCA will automatically be on the side of the animal as opposed to other Bodies who might, wrongly obviously, try and be too even-handed.

Might be best to keep Mr T in for a bit. I know he’s not a house cat, but with a litter tray at least you know he’ll be safe for the time being, until you can do something about the neighbour

Do you have any idea of how many poisonous plants you are surrounded by on a daily basis?
