Could this be a calculated move by Putin to get the US to follow up on its threat to walk away? Highlight that even a 24 hour ceasefire isn’t viable by announcing one then immediately violating it. Just seems like intentional silly buggers (which I know is standard)

Ive read that not only did Ukraine agree to it (as Russia violates it), they've offered to extend it to 30 days (which is what Putin has avoided for over a month)

It just strikes me that the timing means it could’ve been a reaction to the US comments.

I didn’t realise that Ukraine had agreed to the ceasefire - probably the sensible thing to do at this time as they don’t want to be seen as the bad guys by Donald - even though any Russian offer of a ceasefire is likely to be a sham

Just a minute. I have never claimed to be an expert in drone porn.

. All those 3D printers working 24/7, a beautiful site.It reminds me of something: the US having a go at Zelenskiy saying he had to mobilise all 18-23 year olds. Well I bet a reasonable percentage of the designers, assemblers, testers and pilots of these drones are from that age group. Also let's remember that an enormous number of people are required behind the front lines, in logistics, supplies etc.
The young are not all baristas in Kyiv and Lviv.

Of all the embattled leaders of history, surely none cared for their people more and deserve victory more than Zelenskiy.

Inspirational! A real leader. His speech was all about the Ukrainian people. He is one of them.
Somebody else doesn't know how to be a leader. He makes it all about HIM.

Looking into the far future, I can see him becoming an integral part of the EU, like Kaja Kallas has become.
He is very-well regarded in Europe, and could be very effective in securing EU defence funding against a post-war Russia.

I hope and believe there will be many instances like this.
We won't get to know the details in many cases, but I am expecting a common theme to emerge, whether the result is suicide, drunk, refusal to follow orders, revenge on commanding officers etc - a lack of discipline. Bring it on. And bring it back to Moscow.
