6'3" tall. He's a big lad for a tricky left winger.
He looks to be a very Brighton type signing, i.e. young with loads of raw talent and ambition.
It will be fun to follow his progress.
Tall but stats say weakness is heading. Shame but guess time to improve.

Good write-up...

"Assurances from Brighton also played a key role. Despite speculation that Watson may be loaned out or used solely in youth football, the player has been offered a genuine shot at competing for a place in the first team next season. Brighton are expected to move on some attacking players this summer, and Watson’s integration into the senior squad is said to be a key part of their plan."

Felt genuinely sorry for the hordes of Mitoma Japanese fans witnessed outside the West before the game on Saturday. All with Mitoma shirts on, fresh from dropping probably about £200 each in the club shop (as well as thousands on the flights/trip), only to learn Mitoma was out injured – and to round it off, they get that second half to witness and a chorus of boos at the end.

At least they've had nice weather over here.

Always make me chuckle when I see the Japanese fan in the WSU every game with Hinshelwood on his shirt.
He brought a sister/girlfriend to the Leicester game and she had Welbeck on hers

Are they likely to come up? Perhaps back to them for a loan.

If Sunderland get promoted he wouldn’t be able to go there on loan until January. Premier League rules prevent a club loaning a player to another PL club in the same window that they are signed.

Any loan would have to be back down to the Championship or abroad.

Aren't there two transfer windows this summer due to the Club World Cup?

True there is a ridiculous closure in the window for 5 days, mainly to stick to the maximum number of weeks the transfer window can be open but allow Man City and Chelsea to sign players before the Club World Cup.

However I would imagine for the loan rules it will count as any players signed in the summer window(s).
