Ended up back at the Montague that night Sid, The Ersk bought a round. That day is still so vivid in my mind. The pubs at Victoria were amazing.
Can’t remember what I did the day before yesterday but that day……. wow.

Beat ‘Massive’ at Highbury to reach the Twin Towers for the first time ever.
Halcyon days
Who was there?
Was it a police band or marching band/similar?I was there aged 12, standing not behind the goal but roughly alongside where Case took his free kick from…which was also alongside the halftime entertainment. Free entry to the Terrace (downstairs) for anyone who can name who perhaps surprisingly provided the music that afternoon.
I believe The Met Police Band used to play Arsenal every home game. Was it a police band or marching band/similar?
Me too for both. What a weekend!I was there. Ran the London Marathon the following day.
