I’m not sure about that, although the thought has certainly crossed my mind.
There’s a big difference between what the US has currently been doing (chatting shit and trying to extort Ukraine as “repayment” of US aid) and switching to provide direct assistance to Russia.
What impact would that have on US relationships across Europe, defence and intelligence contracts, global trade and the US economy?
